Review with Menu and Map
The Argyll Arms offers one of the most impressive restaurant interiors in central London, including mirrored walls and an ornate stamped-metal ceiling with the beautiful etched glass partitions separating cozy sitting areas. Service and execution of the menu are as good or better than what you'd expect in this price range which is right in the middle of the spectrum. We think The Argyll Arms is one of the best values in central London for this level of ambiance, service and execution of a traditional British menu.

The Argyll Arms, with a history dating back to 1868, offers one of the most impressive pub interiors in central London, including mirrored walls and an ornate stamped-metal ceiling. During the Victorian age, the bar was divided up to keep the social classes apart, but these days, the beautiful etched glass partitions are purely decorative.
The locale is more of a traditional restaurant than a rowdy pub with an elegant upstairs dining area. Nothing elegant about the menu. Just an enjoyable array of traditional pub classics like meat pies, fish n chips, and bangers and mash. It's also one of the best spots in town for a Sunday roast.
The Argyll Arms has successful bridged the gap between a traditional common pub and a fancy restaurant. It's a unique offering in this genre.
Service and execution of the menu are as good or better than what you'd expect in this price range which is right in the middle of the spectrum.
