Review with Menu and Map
The Old Bell Tavern is located in the heart of London City in central London, on Fleet Street near the Blackfriar's Bridge, in close proximity to many of the city's favorite tourist attractions. The pub offers a wide range of traditional British pub fare, including very good renditions of fish n chips, bangers and mash and some unconventional meat pies to augment their more traditional minced beef and chicken pies. This pub, and the nearby Blackfriar, are the best pubs in this neck of the woods. Both deserve a visit.

The pub boasts a long and proud history having been licensed as a tavern for more than 300 years. Built by Sir Christopher Wren, it housed his masons who were rebuilding St Bride's Church after the Great Fire.

The pub is clean and well-maintained, having a truly traditional pub character including some magnificent stained glass windows facing the street. Service is top-notch and execution of the menu is spot-on as well.
